By analyzing the mumblecore genre in relation to German and American filmmakers, Simon Vorgrimmler and Zoé Philine Leduey have designed their own set of rules to guide the actors in their actions and dialogues through pre-assigned plot instructions. In Whykiki they set out in search of alternative ways of producing, narrating and directing. In a setting inspired by Samuel Beckett's play “Waiting for Godot” four people find themselves on a journey.
